Background + Context
Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Co Ltd (“ASTRI”) is an organisation of more than 700 staff with a focus on technology research and development in various areas including Trust and AI Technologies, Communications Technologies, IoT Sensing and AI Technologies and Integrated Circuits and Systems.
With a commitment to research and development, they aim to present their annual achievements and goals in a visually engaging manner. The client sought to create an online annual report that not only showcases their accomplishments but also reflects their brand identity and values.
Problem Statement
The primary challenge was to design an engaging and informative one-page annual report that effectively communicates ASTRI's achievements over the past year while maintaining user interest throughout the lengthy content.
The existing formats were static and lacked visual appeal, leading to a disengaged audience. The goal was to create a dynamic experience that would enhance readability and retention of information.
